Eligibility Criteria
Supervisor and trainee are PRIME members
Undergraduate or Graduate student OR Post-Doctorate Fellow enrolled in a post-secondary institution in Manitoba
Demonstrates a clear need for funding for the upcoming year
Demonstrates the use of rigorous and appropriate research methodologies
The research is in line with PRIME objectives
Send all materials to prime@umanitoba.ca with the subject “PRIME Research Award Submission”

Recognizing and Responding to Birth Trauma: The Development and Pilot Evaluation of a Brief Online Training Intervention for Canadian Health Care Providers
Updates:
Recruited 146 interdisciplinary providers across Canada to hear about their training needs
Partnered with the Centre for Healthcare Innovation with funding from PRIME to develop a brief online training intervention tailored to provider’s training needs
Next Steps:
Pilot the training and gather feedback from providers across Canada that will inform refinements, future research, and implementation of the training

Project Description:
Understanding needs across mental wellness, culture, parenting, & community connections for Filipino parents of young children
Co-developing a single-session intervention to promote strategies for family wellness & accessing comprehensive services
