Community Survey
We are bringing together a community of Manitobans who care about improving mental health for children, youth, and families to help us understand how eHealth resources can help or hinder family wellness. The PRIME community survey helps us connect with people who share this passion, including those from industry community organizations, government, academia, and the general community. By sharing knowledge and building partnerships across the province, we hope to enhance wellness for families in Manitoba and beyond.
Priority Setting Research
This study seeks to understand families’ experiences and priorities regarding mental health and eHealth programs. We conducted 10 focus groups reflecting diverse experiences, to discuss mental health program needs and perspectives on the use of technology to support mental health. Focus groups reflected youth, parents and guardians, Indigenous community members, and newcomers perspectives. To aid discussion, we used creative arts-based methods to understand experiences and to create visual representations of each focus group discussion.
Focus Groups
These focus groups were held with parents, Indigenous community members, and immigrants and newcomers to discuss their perspectives on mental health and eHealth services in Manitoba. Artistic representations of their discussions were illustrated by a graphics designer at the event, which are now on display at CHRIM.
